How come when I was a kid there were only like 8 different known types of dinosaurs and now..?

There are 15,000,000,000,000,000,000 or so. Did we just recently discover a new batch somewhere?
I only remember there being Tyrannosaurus Rex, Pterodactyls, and that hippo thing with a horn.
Now there is stuff like, Starbucksasauraus, damnitshowisuglyasaurus, and the ever so famous, Obesebecauseallieatismcdonaldsasauraus.
Did I leave any out?

LMAO suppossedely its because they keep finding NEW bones and new evidence that different kinds existed! Ive seen the animation they do like on Discoery channel- now how do they KNOW thats what they looked like and acted like so long ago just from a few leg bones? Hmmmmmmm makes ya wonder dont it?
