if you got dinosaurs and other animals why not dragons they had flying dinosaurs pterodactyl and stuff
if it didnt have the magic and fire breathing couldnt a dragon possibly be a very very big pterodactyl it looks somewhat similar to a dinosaur and it flies, and dragons were described as flying dinosaurs

It was this show i watched as a kid, cant remember what station. It was about these dinosaurs that fought crime and shit.
